Willing To Oppose has been playing together for some time now. Some of them have known each other for 10 years and more but only began playing music together in the last few years. They credit their chemistry and originality as their major weapons when being compared to other bands. They recently recorded their first demo in the winter of 2010. "We believe in the energy that we create when we are playing together. We believe that the energy we create is contagious and our chemistry is evident when we play. We have a good time on stage and we encourage the audience to have a good time too. It's rock n roll. We love it all. From Chuck Berry to Cage the Elephant, if it's real you can tell. We are not trying to sell fluffy bubble-gum rock. We are trying to make the most honest rock n roll that we can and share it with as many people as we can. That's the goal; plain and simple." Said Ryan Schmidt (Vocals\rhythm guitarist). Willing To Oppose has seen a slow but steady rise in accomplishments. They have recently played the Mod Club and The Horseshoe Tavern in downtown Toronto, Canada.
